Federal authorities arrest Democratic city councilman who claimed Jewish bankers controlled the weather

Over the weekend, federal agents arrested Democratic Washington DC City Councilman Trayon White Sr. in an affluent neighborhood.

The Washington Post reported that nearly a dozen FBI agents were spotted at a luxury apartment complex in Navy Yard – where rents for one-bedroom apartments start at more than $2,000 a month – carrying battering rams that they used to break down doors.

No information is available on the charges underlying his arrest, but a judge is expected to unveil the indictment when it is read in court on Monday.

The two-term Democrat representing the 8th District in southeast Washington was on track to win a third term, the Post reported.

His arrest reportedly came as a shock to those around him, including other city council members and even his own lawyer.

Although no information was available on the allegations against him, The Washington Post noted that problems began to arise during his primary campaign this summer, when information surfaced about campaign finance problems from his two previous campaigns.

“Earlier this year, the office fined White $40,000, writing that committees for his 2022 mayoral campaign and his 2020 re-election campaign failed at various points to provide requested documentation to correct discrepancies totaling thousands of dollars in reported expenses and donations,” the report said. “This included $58,000 from his mayoral campaign that was improperly accounted for, according to the campaign finance office.”

White gained national attention in 2018 when he declared in a social media post that Jewish bankers were controlling the weather around the world to gain control of cities.

“Man, it started snowing out of the blue this morning,” White said. “You better watch out for this climate control, man, this climate manipulation.”

“And DC always talks about, 'We're a resilient city,'” White continued. “And that's a model based on the Rothschilds controlling the climate to create natural disasters that they can pay for to own the cities, man. Be careful.”
