The Louisiana Cancer Foundation is hosting free skin cancer screenings this weekend

MONROE, La. (KNOE) – The Louisiana Cancer Foundation is offering free skin cancer screenings this weekend and today Susie Runkle was a guest on Good Morning ArkLaMiss to talk about the event.

Runkle says there is no minimum age or age restriction to participate in the free screening. She says dermatologists will be present at the event and will examine attendees and provide recommendations for follow-up care. Runkle says only 100 people can attend the free screening, so it's first come, first served.

Screenings will be held on Saturday, August 24th from 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at the Louisiana Cancer Foundation building at 301 Hall Street in Monroe.
