The franchise is back with a brand new film called Attack On Titan: The Last Attack, set to hit theaters this year. Fans expecting new content will be slightly disappointed, as The Last Attack recaps the final episodes from both parts of Attack on Titan: The Final Chapters, the series finale.

The visual effects will be enhanced for a cinematic experience and the audio will be upgraded to a 5.1 surround sound experience. The film's runtime has been confirmed to be 145 minutes. Details on the new visual effects are unknown, but the new trailer for Attack On Titan: The Last Attack features improved quality compared to the anime adaptation.

Attack On Titan: The Last Attack will be released on November 8, 2024. It is directed by Yuichiro Hayashi. Hayashi-san revealed that he drew the storyboards for THE FINAL CHAPTERS and that it is a dream come true for him to see the film in theaters. Attack On Titan: The Last Attack is the third compilation film in the series.

The film is set to be released in Japan, but there is no news on other regions. Given its popularity, it is likely that the film will be released worldwide at some point. Attack On Titan, also known as Shingeki no Kyojin, is based on the manga series by Hajime Isayama, which premiered in 2013.

The series is set in a post-apocalyptic world where the last humans live behind walls to protect themselves from giant, humanoid Titans. In Attack On Titan: The Last Attack, we see the elite warrior unit take on the Survey Corps, each fighting for their own ideals. Meanwhile, Eren Yeager hatches a devious plan to rid his homeland of all enemies.

It will be interesting to see how well the scenes are adapted for the big screen, especially The Rumbling. With Eren, Mikasa and Armin among others returning to Japanese theaters, expectations are high among AOT fans. Stay tuned for the latest updates on the Attack On Titan franchise!
