Falcons updated 90-man roster before the start of Week 3 of the NFL preseason

The Atlanta Falcons have been tinkering with their roster all offseason, but last week they made two game-changing moves. The team traded outside linebacker Matthew Judon and signed safety Justin Simmons, giving head coach Raheem Morris and defensive coordinator Jimmy Lake a ton of firepower.

Now that the defense may be on par with the offense, the Falcons are poised to make a splash this season. The team officially signed Simmons to the roster on Sunday and released wide receiver James Washington in return.

As the Falcons prepare for their final preseason game this Friday against the Jaguars at Mercedes-Benz Stadium, check out the team's updated 90-man roster, sorted by position group, below:
