You are Joe Goldberg is many things – a serial killer, a pathological liar, a chauvinist – but the actor who plays him, Penn Badgley, is “very reserved, very attentive” as he shows up for his final day of filming on the hit Netflix thriller series.

The gossip Girl The actor announced the end of the show's dark comedy in a TikTok video that picked up on the trend originally started by content creator Jools Lebron, whose instructional video on how to be “respectful” and “humble” at work has since become a huge hit – and has been copied by everyone from the White House team to Jennifer Lopez – which enabled her to pay for her gender reassignment surgery.

“See how I show up to work? Very low key, very attentive,” Badgley begins the video, mimicking LeBron's rhythm while carrying heavy bags of clothes.

“I don't really do much when I'm at work. I'm very mindful,” he continues, before a still image of his character screaming in a glass cage (Goldberg's preferred method of imprisoning his victims) appears.

“For me, playing a romantic icon for five seasons means being very humble and mindful,” said the Simply A adds the actor, joking about how his character has been romanticized in the past.

“See my shirt? It shows the shoulders, not the boulders,” he concludes, parodying LeBron's version of “See my shirt? Just a little chi-chi out, not my cho-cho.”

As Deadline previously reported, You Season 5 is the final part of the popular series, concluding a long storyline that could see Joe finally face justice for his long list of heinous crimes. At the end of the last season, Joe returned to his roots in New York with wealthy widow Kate (Charlotte Ritchie), gaining all the privileges and protection that comes with wealth.
