The Hinsdale Little League continues its run in the 2024 Little League World Series on Sunday at 8 a.m. with an elimination game against the Staten Island Little League of New York.

Illinois, representing the Great Lakes region of the United States, lost its first game 5-0 to Hawaii on Friday afternoon. New York, the champion of the United States metropolitan area, lost its opening game to Nevada on Thursday and stayed in contention with a win over South Dakota on Saturday.

The LLWS runs until August 25th, when the winners from the USA and the international championship compete in the finals.
