Imran Khan is accused of plotting a political conspiracy, leading to national unrest

The Pakistani government has leveled allegations against imprisoned former Prime Minister Imran Khan of masterminding a political conspiracy to create unrest across the country. According to media reports, Khan conspired with former ISI chief (retired) Faiz Hameed and other former military officers.

Information Minister Attaullah Tarar claimed that the alliance between Khan and Hameed was aimed at spreading chaos. Hameed, who was arrested after being accused of abuse of office, is believed to be part of this complicated conspiracy. The investigation, led by the army's internal accountability mechanisms, is expected to expand further.

Tarar stressed that other institutions also need to adopt similar self-regulatory practices. Meanwhile, despite his recent distancing from Hameed, Khan hinted at his close ties with the former intelligence chief and said Hameed's transfer to Peshawar was a ploy by former army chief Qamar Javed Bajwa and Nawaz Sharif against the PTI government.
