Social media is quick to create trends that take over users' feeds. Just recently we saw the viral Hwak Tuah girl, and now TikTok user Jools Lebron has taken the internet by storm with just two sentences she spoke in her videos.

Jools Lebron, the person behind the “very low-key, very mindful” trend.

In many of her videos, Lebrun uses “very considerate, very mindful” to explain her makeup looks. For example, in one of the clips, she explains how she appears at work. While talking about it, she goes on to say that she doesn't wear heavy makeup, such as winged eyeliner, and wears her hair straight. “I use eyebrow gel, very considerate, very approachable, very low-key. Let's be mindful while we're at work, ladies; this is not a fashion show,” Lebron says in the clip. (Also Read: What is Tadpole Water? According to The Guardian, she also gave her followers advice on how to keep a low profile in stressful situations, such as traveling with family. She says to arrive at the airport “very early, very on time, very considerate, very low profile.” Another situation that caught her eye was when someone left their ID at a bar and said, “Don't stay and drink, take your ID and leave” – ”very cute, very low profile.”

After LeBron's videos went viral, many people took to social media and started using “very low key, very mindful” in different situations.

This is how people reacted:

Jess Zafarris, etymologist and author of Once Upon a Word: A Word-Origin Dictionary for Kids, told The Guardian that the Latin root of the word means “humble,” “maturus,” “mature,” or “grown-up.” (Also read: TikTok trends are getting dangerous: 5 viral trends that have people worried)

“It reminds me of the root of the word precocious, 'coquere,' which means precocious or matured and tends to describe children who are better behaved, more disciplined and perform better within the constraints of a class. Reticent is applied to women in the same way: a woman who behaves well, does not stand out and is more reserved, composed and serious,” Zafarris said.
