WYOMING COUNTY/Perry Police arrest New Jersey resident involved in two separate sex crime cases – Video News Service

PERRY, NY – Police Chief Michael J. Grover reports the arrest of a New Jersey resident following two cases of sexual offenses investigated by Officer Zachary Fleiss of the Perry Police Department.

On August 15, 2024, two members of the Perry Police Department, Sergeant Blake Russell and Officer David Spink, arrested 19-year-old Tristin T. Clevenger at the Salem County Correctional Facility in New Jersey, where he was being held on a warrant for sexual assault.

Clevenger is being investigated by the Perry Police Department for two separate sex crimes that occurred in April and May 2024. However, Clevenger had left the area and went to New Jersey.

Clevenger is accused of sexual abuse of a minor and forcible touching after allegedly touching another person's private parts without their consent.

Clevenger was arraigned before the Honorable Judge Kelsey at the Perry Village Courthouse and bail was set at $50,000 cash, $100,000 surety and $200,000 partially secured. He was transported to the Wyoming County Jail and his next court date is set for September 10th at 1:00 p.m.
