“Toxic”: Rita Panahi describes the left wing as a “cancer” of the Liberal Party

Sky News presenter Rita Panahi described the left wing as a “cancer” on the New South Wales Liberal Party.

The New South Wales Liberals are in chaos after a paperwork error left the party unable to submit nominations for all candidates for the upcoming local elections.

Ms Panahi described the left wing of the Liberal Party as “a cancer – we have said that time and time again.”

“Well, they are incompetent too.

“It's one thing to be toxic; it's quite another to be incompetent at the same time.”
