Malayalam actor Mohanlal's 'Barroz' gets new release date and is set to hit theatres on October 3

New Delhi: Malayalam superstar Mohanlal makes his directorial debut Barroz is now scheduled to hit theaters on October 3rd.

The release date of the 3D fantasy drama, which was announced in 2019, has been postponed several times. The original release date was March 28.

Mohanlal, who also Barrozannounced the new release date of the film.

“Barroz is coming to reveal its secrets on October 3, 2024. Mark your calendar for a magical adventure,” the star wrote on X on Saturday.

The Malayalam-language film was released in 2021 and is based on Jijo Punnoose's novel Barroz: Guardian of D'Gama's Treasure.

Barroz is backed by Antony Perumbavoor under the banner of Aashirvad Cinemas.

Santosh Sivan is the cinematographer, while the music was composed by Lydian Nadhaswaran and Mark Kilian.
