Mohanlal’s directorial debut ‘Barroz’ gets new release date

Malayalam superstar Mohanlal makes his directorial debut Barroz is now set to hit theaters on October 3, the makers announced on Saturday (August 17).

The release date of the 3D fantasy drama, which was announced in 2019, has been postponed several times. The original release date was March 28.

Jijo Punnoose by My dear Kuttichathan (1984) Fame wrote the screenplay based on his novel Barroz: Guardian of D'Gama's treasure.

Barroz has music by Lydian Nadhaswaram. Hollywood composer Mark Kilian, known for his work on films such as Deep Blue Sea 3 And Pitch perfectcomposed the background music.

The film was cinematographed by Santosh Sivan and edited by B. Ajith Kumar. Barroz is backed by Antony Perumbavoor under the banner of Aashirvad Cinemas.
