The Indiana Fever (12-15) will look to extend their winning streak to two straight when they host the Seattle Storm (17-9) on Sunday afternoon. The Fever defeated the Phoenix Mercury 98-89 on Friday night in their first game since the Olympic break.

Clark's 29 points were enough to hold one of the league's best teams at bay, scoring 13 points in the first quarter.

Clark credited the Mercury with their dogged performance, as Kaylah Copper scored 32 points and practically carried the team on her shoulders.

“You knew they were going to come here with a lot of confidence, with three guys who have won gold medals,” Clark told reporters after the win. “You know their confidence is really high, and I think we came out and really set the tone.”

Clark also secured her tenth double-double to date, along with Aliyah Boston's 14 points and nine rebounds.

For the Fever, it was the decisive win against the Mercury this season. Indiana will try to get into the playoffs again towards the end of the season.

Seattle lost to the Atlanta Dream 83-81 on Friday night.
