A few years ago, in 2022, Mahindra launched the new generation of its iconic SUV – the Mahindra Scorpio N. The SUV retained the ladder on the frame platform but became more sophisticated than before. However, the SUV was derided for its value for money as it lacked some key features. Nevertheless, after a long time, Mahindra has planned to update the ScorpioN with new features. In fact, the SUV has already been spotted with new features! So, let's take a look at the new Mahindra ScorpioN.

New Mahindra ScorpioN

As we can see, the new brochure of the ScorpioN reveals three new features. First, we have the auto-dimming IRVM, second, the ventilated front seats and finally, a wireless charger. All these features were missing on the ScorpioN but today we have them. As for the variant, it is the top-of-the-range Z8 L variant that gets these features. If you remember, even the XUV700 lacked some of these features which the brand recently included in the dark edition of the SUV. Now, will Mahindra launch a dark edition for the Scorpio N as well?

The brochure is also supported by the leaked photos of the SUV. We can see the front seats covered in protective plastic with “Ventilation” written on them. In the second image, we can also see the auto-dimming IRVM. So overall, it is confirmed that the ScorpioN will offer these two new features. However, the launch and pricing details of the updated Scorpio N are still unknown to us.

What else?

Apart from two new features, the ScorpioN remains unchanged. Since it is merely an update, no changes are expected on the exterior or interior. Even the engine and transmission options remain unchanged. Two engine options are currently available for the SUV – a 2.0-litre petrol engine and a 2.2-litre diesel engine. The 2.0-litre petrol engine produces 200 bhp and 380 Nm of torque, while the 2.2-litre diesel produces 172 bhp and 400 Nm of torque. Transmission options for both engines include a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed automatic transmission with torque converter.
