Planned Parenthood is offering more than just a free T-shirt or sticker at next week's Democratic National Convention (DNC) – the organization is offering free vasectomies, medication abortions and emergency contraception.

Planned Parenthood Great Rivers of St. Louis announced in an X-post that a bus will travel to the DNC in Chicago on August 19 and 20 to provide free services.

“Here we come, Chicago! Our mobile health clinic will be in the West Loop August 19-20 with @ChiAbortionFund and @TheWienerCircle offering FREE vasectomies and medication abortions,” the post read. “EC will also be available free and without an appointment.”

The Planned Parenthood location noted that there is a waiting list for vasectomies while attending the convention.

“We currently have a waiting list for free vasectomies,” says a follow-up question. X Post said. “Repost to spread the word!”

The Democrats have made abortion a central theme of their national campaigns this election year and warned, among other things, that a Republican Control of Congress, along with another four years in the White House for former President Trump, would mean a nationwide ban.

Since the overturning of Roe v. Wade and the inauguration of Vice President Kamala Harris to succeed President Biden, the Democratic Party has doubled down on its rhetoric around “women’s right to choose.”

A Quinnipiac University survey The study, released in April, revealed information about Americans' views on abortion that may surprise voters.

According to the poll, a record number of Americans (66%) now support legal abortion in some or all cases, the highest level of support ever recorded in the poll's 20-year history.

A majority of 34% said abortion should be legal in all cases, while 32% said it should be legal in most cases.

Because the issue of abortion is becoming so important in the upcoming election campaign, Trump has softened his stance on this sensitive issue.

Before the Republican Party Convention, Trump drafted the Republican Party platform in a closed session, softening the party's once strong opposition to abortion.

“We believe that the Fourteenth Amendment to the United States Constitution guarantees that no person shall be denied life or liberty without due process of law, and that the states are therefore free to enact laws to protect these rights,” the draft states.

However, for the first time in 40 years, the document makes no mention of a federal ban on abortion, even though the likely Republican presidential nominee has stressed that he opposes such a ban.

Instead, the new program emphasizes: “We will oppose late-term abortions while supporting mothers and policies that improve prenatal care, access to contraception and IVF (fertility treatments).”

The party's stance drew strong criticism from some pro-life groups, including the Family Research Council, whose chairman Tony Perkins expressed concern that the party was moving away from the goal of “protecting children from the moment of conception”.

“I am concerned that the Republican Party is deviating from its strong, definitive goal of protecting children from the moment of conception,” Perkins wrote in a social media post.

Planned Parenthood, the DNC and the Harris campaign did not immediately respond to Fox News Digital's request for comment.
