According to a leaked conversation, an Air India cabin crew member was allegedly sexually assaulted on the night of August 15 at the Radisson Red Hotel in Heathrow, London. The attack occurred at around 1:30 am when an intruder entered the victim's room while she was sleeping. The attacker reportedly attacked her with a coat hanger and dragged her across the floor as she tried to escape. Her cries for help alerted colleagues in neighboring rooms, who quickly intervened and detained the intruder until hotel staff arrived. The attacker has been arrested and the incident is now under investigation. The survivor has been taken to a hospital and is returning to Mumbai. Air India confirmed the news in a press release and expressed deep concern. It offered support and professional counseling to the crew members and coordinated with local police and hotel management. There have reportedly been previous complaints about security lapses at the hotel, including poorly lit corridors and unmanned reception areas. Air India Express reverses dismissal of 25 crew members after reaching agreement, the company reported.
