The Ultimate Fighting Championship heads to Perth, Australia for UFC 305, where reigning middleweight champion Dricus Du Plessis will face Israel Adesanya. If you want to be there, you've come to the right place. We've compiled everything you need to know to watch UFC 305, including live streaming options in multiple countries.

Du Plessis and Adesanya come into the event with fairly even records, so this is shaping up to be a solid fight for Du Plessis' UFC middleweight title. In his 23 professional fights, Du Plessis has only lost two. Adesanya's 27 professional fights have ended in just three losses. Adesanya is a former two-time UFC middleweight champion, so it's safe to assume he'll be looking to reclaim his former title. The rest of the fight card is impressive too, with a co-main that includes a flyweight bout between Kai Kara-France and Steve Erceg, just months after Erceg lost the UFC flyweight title.

UFC fans know how it works by now: To watch the entire event, viewers will need to have both an ESPN+ subscription and pay a separate pay-per-view (PPV) fee. Below, you'll find everything you need to know about watching in the US, UK, Canada and other options. We've also included details on a potential savings opportunity for US viewers and the main event fight card.

How to watch UFC 305 in the USA

UFC 305 kicks off on Saturday, August 17. As is often the case with UFC fights overseas, the schedule is still friendly to U.S. viewers: Prelims begin at around 6 p.m. ET and preliminary fights follow at 8 p.m. ET. The main event begins at 10 p.m. ET, but ring runs for the title fight usually don't start until later.

To stream the event live, you'll need to get an ESPN+ subscription ($10.99 per month) if you don't already have one. To access the main card, you'll also need to pay an additional PPV fee of $79.99 through the streaming service. We know this can get a little pricey, but luckily, there's a way to save money if you're new to ESPN+.

If you want to keep your new subscription for a year, you can get a package that includes an annual subscription (normally $109.99) and a PPV fight (normally $79.99) for just $134.98 instead of the usual $189.98. With a savings of over $50, this is a pretty good deal. Just keep in mind that you will still have to pay a PPV fee for each event going forward, and the standard-price annual subscription will renew this time next year.

Where else you can watch UFC 305

The US isn't the only place where people can catch the action inside the Octagon. UFC fans in the UK, Canada and other countries can also watch the fights on various platforms. In the UK, viewers can watch via TNT Sports (with a premium Discovery+ subscription for £39.99 per month and no additional PPV fee). Canadians can tune in via UFC Fight Pass for $65 or via PPV options on most major Canadian TV providers.

UFC is available in various locations around the world, so check local TV listings for more information. Those who aren't home during the fight and still want to take advantage of some of the subscriptions mentioned above can do so with a VPN. VPNs, short for virtual private networks, allow users to change the location of their electronic device so they can still use their usual apps and websites even when traveling outside their country.
