Directed by Takashi Katagiri and written by Ichiro Okouchi, the upcoming film is the theatrical debut of the popular anime, which has had two seasons so far.

The series is based on a 2019 manga of the same name and is about a spy named Twilight who disguises herself as psychiatrist Loid Forger and creates a fake family in order to investigate political leader Donovan Desmond.

He marries the sweet but deadly assassin Yor, who has ambitions of her own, and the couple pretend to be a happy family with their adopted daughter, without either of them knowing anything about the other's secrets.

The synopsis of the film CODE: White reads: “He is a spy. She is an assassin. Loid and Yor lead a double life among themselves and pretend to be the perfect family. However, their adopted daughter Anya, a telepathic, knows the exciting secrets of both of them without their knowledge.

The film's plot was overseen by the author of the original manga, Tatsuya Endo, and is described as both a treat for fans and a good introduction for viewers new to the franchise.

Although a third season of SPY x FAMILY has not yet been confirmed, due to its popularity, a return of the series is expected.
