Creepy video shows woman walking home with boyfriend shortly before he allegedly killed her

Horrifying footage shows a Seattle nurse walking home from the grocery store with her boyfriend before he allegedly killed her while high on drugs, officials said.

According to the King County District Attorney's Office, 26-year-old Andy Chu has confessed to killing his girlfriend Zoey Suyun He while she was visiting from Hawaii over the weekend.

Chu allegedly twisted her neck and held her underwater in a bathtub, prosecutors said. An autopsy found she also suffered blunt force trauma to her head, face, neck, chest and limbs – and a golf ball was lodged in her throat, KOMO News reported.

A neighbor's surveillance camera provided footage showing Chu and the victim entering the townhouse with groceries on August 9.

The next day, Chu left the house alone and was seen on camera pulling something from under his shirt that appeared to be wrapped in a towel as he left the house, Fox 13 reported.

His friends later took him to a hospital because he was behaving “erratically,” prosecutors said.

Police and firefighters discovered He's battered body in Chu's flooded townhouse on August 10 after neighbors reported water pouring from the house.

Prosecutors said the woman was found lying on her back covered in blood and with a cut on her throat. “Her neck was covered with an ice pack and her head was supported on a small block at the back of her neck,” prosecutors said.

Police arrested Chu on Sunday at the University of Washington Medical Center after he allegedly grabbed a nurse's breasts and attempted to “pull her head down by hooking her neck.”

Chu was arrested at the hospital and told police that he had taken two Molly pills and smoked marijuana during his time with He.

The suspected killer told police he had “a memory of choking her, twisting her neck and holding her underwater in the tub.” He said he believed he broke her neck and “remembered her bleeding from the nose.”

Chu then dragged her out of the tub and attempted to revive her using bizarre means, “including sprinkling her all over with acai powder” and “putting a golf ball-like ball in her mouth to set her jaw,” the documents say.

Police believe she was killed sometime between August 9 and 10, when Chu last left the house.

According to KHON, Chu told authorities that he had been dating He since January and that she had just arrived from Hawaii, where they both went to the same high school.

Officials said He, who is originally from China, had already been employed at the Hawaii State Capitol during the 2022 legislative session.

Chu was charged with premeditated murder and aggravated assault against the nurse.

His bail was set at $5 million. His next court date is scheduled for August 28.
