Report: Jennifer Lopez was ‘ghosted’ by a cold Ben Affleck

Jennifer Lopez was “ghosted” by cold-hearted Ben Affleck and feels “humiliated,” according to a report in Life & Style Magazine.

The August 14 article reports that the couple's relationship has taken a turn for the worse. “People close to them are wondering how it got to this point and become so toxic,” a source told the magazine.

“Jennifer thinks Ben is an uncaring brat and wants him to pull himself together, stop playing the brutal mind games and treat her with more respect,” a source told Life & Style. “She will not tolerate being treated so badly anymore. J. Lo is ready to fight – that means war.”

“Something changed a few weeks ago,” a source told Life & Style. “Ben became cold and has been ghosting her ever since. They currently only speak to each other through lawyers and J. Lo finds it humiliating.”

Since August 11, however, Lopez has been seen twice at Affleck's rental property in Brentwood, California. The first time, she was also seen taking his son Samuel to the mall and stopping by Affleck's ex-wife Jennifer Garner's house, Page Six reported; the second visit was on Affleck's 52nd birthday, Page Six reported.

Lopez's friends believe Affleck is manipulating her.

“The way Ben ignored her anniversary and then her birthday while having the audacity to claim he was somehow protecting her and taking time out of consideration for her feelings? That's making J. Lo sick,” the source told Life & Style, adding that “many people close to her believe he's manipulating her.”

According to the report, Affleck has a different view. “He insists he did his best to be reasonable,” the source told Life & Style. “He gives the impression that she took her time and thought he would try again at some point. It was very difficult to formalize a divorce with someone who can't handle the cold reality.”

The couple has not confirmed a separation or that their marriage is breaking up, but they have also not done much to quell the rumors that have been circulating about their marriage since last spring.

Initially, Affleck did not appear with Lopez at the premiere of their Netflix film “Atlas,” People reported.

According to News Nation, he then skipped the Met Gala.

In early June, TMZ reported that he had moved out of the couple's shared home and into the rental property and that the couple had put the shared home up for sale.

This resulted in a number of important moments being missed.

Affleck and Lopez did not spend their second wedding anniversary together, E! News reported.

According to People, Affleck was absent from Lopez's spectacular Bridgerton-themed birthday party in July.

He did not vacation with her in the Hamptons, although she was seen there with his daughter Violet Affleck, People reported. He was not in Paris, France, when she attended a Dior fashion show, according to photos she posted on Instagram. And he was not there when she was seen on vacation in Italy, where she posed for selfies on a speedboat, People reported.
