Bebe Rexha claims she was denied boarding the flight because she spoke Albanian

Bebe Rexha claims she was “threatened” and banned from a flight because she spoke Albanian to a security officer.

Bebe made these claims today in an emotional video shared on her Instagram story. “The supervisor on [German flight carrier] “Lufthansa is threatening me,” she began, wiping the tears from her eyes.

“I was threatened because I thought the security guard was Albanian,” Bebe said in the post. “I spoke to him in Albanian and asked where I could get my ticket and now he is not allowing me to board the flight.”

In a follow-up letter, the singer said: “I believe this is a hate crime because I am Albanian.”

Bebe Rexha shares a statement accusing a Lufthansa employee of hate crimes and psychological abuse, stating that the person works for ATSG, a service company contracted by Lufthansa

“He wouldn't let me take his name,” she continued. “He continued to psychologically abuse me to make me feel more powerful. [than] that was him.”

Bebe also claimed that no one else from the airline intervened. She then posted a fan message asking the airline to “please” make sure she gets home safely and asking Munich Airport to investigate the person in question.
