James Harden goes viral during NBA offseason trip to China

James Harden, guard of the LA Clippers, is one of the most successful active players in the NBA. Harden is also one of the most popular players in the league and has a large fan base around the world.

Harden is incredibly popular in China and often travels there during the NBA offseason to engage with his fans and promote his off-court activities. Harden is one of the faces of adidas and also has several brands of his own, including J-Harden Wines.

When Harden arrived in China earlier this week, he shared a post from his first night in Shanghai.

“We paired the best shoes with the best wine and had a great event on my first night back in Shanghai,” Harden wrote on X.

Several viral clips have already surfaced of Harden's arrival in China, including one that shows the Clippers star dancing and having fun:

Harden shared another viral post on Instagram that includes additional photos that weren't seen in his post on X. This post from Harden has over 160,000 likes as his fans are excited to see him enjoying the NBA offseason.

Harden's rise to superstardom with the Houston Rockets created one of the largest player fan bases in the NBA. Harden did things every night that had never been done before and broke countless records in Houston.

Now with the Clippers, Harden has played on three teams since leaving the Rockets, but still has a loyal fan base that sticks with him at every stop, including his large fan base in China that welcomed him upon his recent arrival.

Harden is entering his 16th NBA season and his second with the Clippers. The star point guard signed a two-year contract extension in LA this summer that includes a player option for the second season.
