It's unclear when he was arrested, but Garcia, 56, was taken into custody by Bryan police sometime today and charged with assault – domestic violence.

His bail was set at $5,000.

Details of the arrest were not immediately available, but a Brazos County spokesman said a public statement was being prepared.

We have also contacted Bryan Police for additional information, but we are not expected to have a probable cause affidavit available until Sunday.
