Panama City man arrested for sexual assault

OKALOOSA COUNTY, Fla. (WALA) – The Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office has released a statement regarding a recent arrest.

The explanation is as follows:

“The Okaloosa County Sheriff's Office has charged 32-year-old Jeremy Logan Ehlers of Panama City with sexual assault. He is over the age of 18, the victim was under the age of 12 or younger. On July 26, a minor female from Bay County was found to be the victim of a sexual assault that occurred when she was eight years old and lived in Fort Walton Beach in 2016. The defendant was booked into the Santa Rosa County Jail, where he is currently being held, and after the Miranda affidavit, he told investigators the location of the crime.”
