David Sanders Jr., the top offensive tackle in the class of 2025, is expected to announce his college choice on Saturday afternoon.

Sanders is also ranked as the No. 2 player in the nation by the 247Sports Composite. The Charlotte (NC) Providence Day product has four finalists: Georgia, Nebraska, Ohio State and Tennessee.

247Sports projects that he will choose Tennessee, a school he has visited several times, but if he chooses Ohio State, his signing would give the Buckeyes four of the top 10 players in the class.

According to 247Sports, Ohio State currently has the highest-rated class in the country.

Sanders, who stands 6-foot-6 and weighs 290 pounds, has been on the national radar for years. Michigan offered him a scholarship at the end of his eighth year of high school.

“David Sanders Jr. possesses an excellent combination of athleticism and playmaking ability at the offensive tackle position,” said On3 scouting director Charles Power in a report on the club's website. “We have known for some time that he was named and ranked as a top national recruit for most of the cycle and has consistently impressed and improved throughout his high school career.”
