Leaked Thunderbolts Plot Could Solve a Major Avengers Mystery

0

The first Thunderbolts* Trailer that Marvel showed at D23 has leaked online and gives us a glimpse into the Suicide Squad Version. Unlike DC's team, the Thunderbolts won't be as suicidal. Also, this team of former antiheroes/villains will be much smaller, so there won't be a need to kill anyone. I'm just speculating, as I have no idea if any member of the Thunderbolts team will die at the end of the movie.

What I do know is that there is an early Thunderbolts There's a plot leak that confirms some key plot details of the upcoming MCU crossover. It tells us who the surprise character and the big villain are. You probably know the answers if you've been following Thunderbolts Leaks. Both characters appeared in the leaked trailer earlier this week.

Interestingly Thunderbolts The plot leak answers a question we've been asking about the Avengers for years: Who bought Stark's Avengers Tower?

If you hate spoilers of any kind, you should not read the following..

As with most MCU leaks, the Thunderbolts The plot details come from Reddit. None of this can be confirmed at this time, but some details match what we saw in the first Thunderbolts Trailer.

For example, the leak tells us that Yelena Belova (Florence Pugh), US Agent (Wyatt Russell), Ghost (Hannah John-Kamen), Taskmaster (Olga Kurylenko), Bucky Barnes (Sebastian Stan), and Red Guardian (David Harbour) have all been trying to find new meaning in life, supposedly feeling aimless and directionless after their previous activities.

The first four are apparently working for Val (Julia Louis-Dreyfus), which is no surprise. We've seen her contact some of them in previous MCU adventures, and we know she's up to no good.

From the plot leak, the four of them get the same job, but not as a team. Each of them is sent to a vault in the desert. There they meet Bob (Lewis Pullman), a man in a robe who is trapped there. After fighting each other, they realize that it is all a trap designed to kill everyone.

So far, the plot leak fits the events in the first Thunderbolts Trailer with a small problem. Taskmaster wasn't in this scene. Or the quality of the trailer was so bad that we couldn't tell them apart from Ghost, who got a brand new suit.

Bob is the new great Marvel superhero (The Sentry) and villain (The Void). Both super beings inhabit the same body because Bob's mind is deeply disturbed.

Let's continue, the Thunderbolts From the plot leak, it appears that an organization called OXE will be tracking them all and Bob to kill them. In the trailer, we see a team of killers shooting at Bob with guns. But Bob doesn't seem to care because bullets can't hurt him.

The plot leak says that Val is actually the leader of OXE and lives in Avengers Tower, which she took over from Stark. Also, Bob was one of Val's projects. She wanted to create another super soldier. It turns out that Bob has a darker personality, the Void, which is a real problem.

Val is clearly the big bad here, although The Void is going to be an incredibly dangerous threat that the Thunderbolts are going to have some trouble dealing with. Maybe stop shooting Bob with your guns?

However, in this leak, we don't get the full plot of the Thunderbolts. It's unclear what the Thunderbolts have to do. The leak tells us that Yelena visits Red Guardian to ask for his help. And as for Bucky Barnes (Sebastian Stan), he is a US Congressman who will step in to help the Thunderbolts in the third act of the film.

The team's name will be Thunderbolts, as that was the name of the soccer team in Yelena's elementary school. However, the name may not be important. As a reminder, the title of Marvel's movie has an asterisk: Thunderbolts*One theory is that Marvel will call it Dark Avengers. Or that we will hear that team name towards the end of the film.
