Cyberpunk 2020 RPG like DND

I was very surprised at first when I learned Cyberpunk 2020 after playing the video game (it's good now, I swear). This RPG was developed years before the video game, and if the Keanu Reeves edition wasn't your style, then you might appreciate the RPG.

Thematically, Cyberpunk 2020 is set in a dystopian cyberpunk city where you can play as anything from a devious corporation to an aspiring brawler to a cybernetic spy. The dark future is riddled with greed, cunning, and the rare innocence that makes betrayal all the more dramatic.

Mechanically, Cyberpunk 2020 is easier than D&D on many levels; however, you have to roll more dice when you hit. Since the combat is more aggressive and much more realistic, you have to be much more careful than you would be in D&D.

Dark Souls, the role-playing game like DND

In the treacherous and grueling lands of the Dark Souls Franchise, Dark Souls The Roleplaying Game allows you and your players to plan your own adventures in the final days of the Age of Fire. Whether you want to invent your own lands, characters, and enemies, or play in familiar locations, this game has something for everyone.

Dark Souls The Roleplaying Game differs mechanically from D&D through the hollowing out mechanics. Since the undead in Dark Soulsdeath has different consequences, creating a completely unique system that stands out from other role-playing games.

As you attempt to break the cycle of undeath while keeping other forces—good and evil—at bay, your success depends on how willing you are to die.

The world of Thedas can be brought to the table with Dragon Age role-playing game. The rich fantasy world was too good for the screen alone, and now players can create their own characters and explore Thedas at their own pace.

If you are a fan of Dragon Agethen that's an almost guaranteed win. There's more room here to emphasize the way actions are expressed, which was the biggest takeaway for me personally. Dragon Age RPG may not have a revolutionary system, but it is still Dragon Age.

For a trip to Thedas with your friends, there is nothing better than Dragon Age RPG.

Bunker and Badasses Games like DND

Bunkers and Badasses is a Borderland Roleplaying game that plays very differently than D&D. Of course, it's incredibly combat-focused, and there's little room in the book for actions and items used outside of combat. Personally, I think this allows the DM more freedom, but it's clear that this system is designed for a lot of combat.

You don’t have to be a fan of Borderland to enjoy Bunkers and Badassesas this book is designed for fun, outrageousness, and chaos (in the latter case, literally). The systems are almost entirely different from D&D, from stats that depend on character creation without dice rolls to resurrection at the cost of gold and trauma.

For fast-paced action without interruptions Bunkers and Badasses you definitely have to try it.

Symbarum has a celebrated setting that is praised by everyone who has played it. The mysterious forest of Davokar is very story-oriented and hides somethingalthough it is never entirely clear what.

The formation of the party that arrives Symbarum will determine how the party views and handles the harsh conflict at the heart of the story and setting. Who will they sympathize with? Who will they help? The dark and mysterious narrative is what defines Symbarum and makes it so unforgettable.

Regardless of how players approach the conflict, Symbarumthey become part of an epic story.

Fallout: The Roleplaying Game is set in the rich wastelands of the nuclear apocalypse. There are so many places that players can visit in the great world of Stand outbut the DM is also capable of forming its own postnuclear regions.

In Fallout: The Roleplaying Gamehow actions are executed is very different from any other system I have seen, and it is dripping with Stand out Style. While systems may vary, the classic D&D feel of exploration, adventure, and decision-making is always the same.

If you are a fan of the Stand out Games, then Fallout: The Roleplaying Game is a natural choice.

Blades in the dark is mechanically and thematically different from D&D, but is still a highly regarded TTRPG system. Blades In The Dark is a more stealthy, spy-like RPG with systems that are incredibly easy to learn and allow for a rich narrative and exciting action.

Set in an enchanted steampunk city, Blades in the dark is perfectly optimized to host elegant one-shots and longer campaigns, while the players, rowdies and hooligans, take jobs and do whatever they want.

Actually, Blades in the dark is almost a must-try, especially if you are a group that is getting into the role-playing scene.

Have you always wanted to experience a great adventure like in Lord of the rings? Who am I kidding – that’s why everyone plays D&D. With The One Ringyou can finally participate in the conflicts of Middle Earth without calling your DM an imposter.

In the movies there is action every five minutes. In the books, however, there is a lot of traveling. Fortunately The One Ring is incredibly respectful to the books, going so far as to have each character have an exploitable flaw and a hope status so that corruption never really goes away.

If you want to fight against big monsters and embark on a mission that is about more than fame and glory, but about friendship, honor and the common good, then The One Ring is a fantastic choice.
