Find out when SkyMed Season 3 is expected to be released

SkyMed The release of season 3 is expected soon, but the big question is when exactly that will happen.

Based in Canada, SkyMed This film follows a team of nurses and pilots working for a government-funded rescue helicopter in northern Manitoba, performing high-stakes missions in a dangerous location.

The series premiered on CBC Television in July 2022 and consisted of 18 episodes in the first two seasons. Fans have been waiting for a sequel since the last episode aired in November 2023.

When will SkyMed season 3 be released?

According to Deadline, Paramount+ has been renewed SkyMed for season 3 in March 2024. Filming for the new season was already scheduled for March 25 in Manitoba and Ontario, Canada.

The press release also noted that Wheezer star Aaron Ashmore has been promoted to series regular for Season 3. Star Trek: DiscoveryAnthony Grant and Shadowhunters“Nicola Correia-Damude joined the cast in unspecified recurring roles.

For information: Season 1 of SkyMed Filming of “The 400” lasted about five months between late August 2021 and mid-January 2022. The season premiered six months later in July 2022.

Should this time frame be similar for season 3, SkyMed could realistically already have finished filming or be close to completing it, as it began about five months ago at the time of writing.

If this schedule is correct, fans could realistically expect the new season to premiere as early as early 2025.

As for the next season, a lot of emphasis was placed on Hayley's (Natasha Calis) journey out of addiction at the end of Season 2, and that journey should continue intensely as she hopes to find recovery.

Braeden Clarke's Jeremy also returned, and the entire episode highlighted characters who spent a lot of time on the sidelines in Season 2. This could mean that characters like Nowak (Thomas Elms), Tristan (Kheon Clarke), Lexi (Mercedes Morris), and others will get bigger roles in the next few episodes.

Additionally, Season 2 ended so definitively that many storylines for Season 3 are difficult to predict. Thankfully, fans don't have to wait much longer to learn more about what comes next.
