Another free costume is available in Mortal Kombat 1 and you can get it now

Mortal Kombat 1 has seen some questionable pricing practices for its additional content over the last 10 months of its lifespan, and while there have been improvements in some areas, the bad taste some of the more egregious cases earlier left with fans hasn't quite washed away.

That's why alternate costumes added to the game for free are all the nicer. Following the recent maskless Kitana skin, NetherRealm Studios and Warner Bros. Games have introduced another free skin for all players, and this time it's for Johnny Cage.

Now when you jump into Mortal Kombat 1, the new Johnny Cage “Infiltrator” skin will already be added to your inventory. You don't need to do anything else and you can find this new skin by going into the game's customization mode, selecting Johnny, and then looking in the Palettes section.

This new alternate look for Mr. Cage comes in two different color palettes for you to choose from. Johnny in the new version wears a full body suit with a large chest armor on top and cargo pants.

The developers of Mortal Kombat 1 have been releasing some free skins lately, and they're probably doing this not only to give something back to players, but also to release any remaining content they had planned for the game's first year before the big expansion arrives.

Mortal Kombat 1: Khaos Reigns will soon add six new playable characters, new chapters in Story Mode, and even new finishing moves in Animalities. It will be available next month on September 24th.
