The 5 most important national TV games in the Pacers schedule

0

Indiana Pacers fans should be pleased with the recognition they have received from the NBA's schedule makers. Next season, the Pacers will play nine nationally televised games after playing just one last season.

After their appearance in the Eastern Conference Finals, the Pacers are looking to repeat their success from last season with another deep playoff run. And now the whole world will get a chance to see how Tyrese Haliburton and Co. can make headlines again in 2025.

However, NBA fans know that not all nationally televised games are created equal, so which five of the nine games the Pacers have for next season are the most important and should definitely be watched on TV?

In a rematch of last season's second round of the playoffs, the Pacers will face the New York Knicks at Madison Square Garden. It will be New York's first home game since the Pacers ended their season in Game 7 a few months ago.

The biggest challenge of this game will be how the Pacers fare against the newly formed Knicks. This summer, the Knicks acquired Mikal Bridges in a trade from the Brooklyn Nets. They also lost Isaiah Hartenstein and Alec Burks, two key players from last year's team, to free agency.

Many are predicting that the Knicks will finish the season better than the Pacers, but we shouldn't forget what happened the last time these two teams met. In their first nationally televised game of the season, the Pacers have a chance to prove to the world that they can no longer be overlooked.
