NEET PG 2024 results are expected to be announced soon. The exam was held on August 11, 2024 and once the results are released, candidates can download their scorecards from the official website: nbe.edu.in. This year, the National Board of Education (NBE) will declare the results based on the normalization process as the exam was held in two different shifts.

According to an official statement from the NBE, the highest score in each stratum is placed at the 100th percentile in this process. The highest score for each stratum is considered the highest and all other scores are compared relative to that highest score.

The result contains the registration numbers, marks and ranks of the candidates. The percentile rank is calculated to 7 decimal places to avoid the clustering effect. This list determines the eligibility for admission to various postgraduate medical courses across India.

The examination entitles to access to 26,168 places for the Doctor of Medicine (MD), 13,649 places for the Master of Surgery (MS), 922 places for the PG diploma course and 1,338 places for the DNB CET.
