The teens are accused of several serious crimes, including fleeing and evading arrest, reckless driving, criminal conspiracy, burglary and grand theft.

They are being held at the Cumberland Regional Juvenile Detention Center.

The investigation is ongoing and further arrests are likely.

The Robeson County Sheriff's Criminal Investigation Division investigated the cases. St. Paul police assisted with the arrests.

“I want to express my sincere gratitude to the residents of the Rennert Community and the surrounding area,” said Sheriff Burnis Wilkins. “With the help of a department drone and several calls from residents who had observed the youths in various areas, deputies and detectives were able to locate each of the youths individually. I am proud of my team and thank the residents who stopped by to bring us water and drinks and even bought us sandwiches from a local church during a fundraiser. For that, I say thank you.”
