Xiaomi has released the HyperOS 1.5 update for the Xiaomi 14 series and other devices

Xiaomi has started rolling out a major HyperOS 1.5 update to its smartphones in China. This update includes an August security patch, new features, performance improvements, and bug fixes.

We know that

Xiaomi 14 series devices, Redmi K70 and some other devices were the first to receive the update. HyperOS 1.5 adds the ability to customize the lock screen, improves system stability and improves the user interface.

Users can now personalize their lock screen by simply tapping and holding the screen. The update also speeds up apps and makes them run more smoothly, while various customizations improve interaction with the device and make it easier and more intuitive to use.

Other devices like the Xiaomi 13 series, Xiaomi Mix Fold 3 and Redmi Turbo 3 will also receive the update soon. In September, the update will be available for the Xiaomi Civi 4 Pro and the Redmi K60 series.

Xiaomi plans to release HyperOS 2.0 with hidden camera detection in the future, which will provide users with a new level of security. HyperOS 2.0 is expected to be released in October.
