Versatile Bollywood actor Akshay Oberoi is all set to make a major foray into the Kannada film industry with the highly anticipated action thriller 'Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups'. Oberoi shares the screen space with pan-India superstar Yash and his inclusion in the star cast has generated huge excitement among fans as well as the industry at large.

Directed by the acclaimed Geetu Mohandas, Toxic delves into the murky underworld of the drug mafia and promises to be a thrilling cinematic experience. The intense premise of the film, coupled with the impressive screen presence of Yash and Oberoi, has already created enormous expectations.

Oberoi, known for his compelling performances in projects like Pizza, Gurgaon and the critically acclaimed OTT series Illegal and Flesh, brings a wealth of talent and experience to the role. His ability to seamlessly switch between different characters and genres makes him the perfect fit for the complex and challenging world of Toxic.

Production is currently underway in Bengaluru and Oberoi is completely immersed in his role. Although he is juggling multiple projects at once, including the upcoming comedy Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari opposite Varun Dhawan, the actor is determined to deliver a stellar performance in Toxic.

Backed by production giants KVN Productions and Yash's Monster Mind Creations, the film promises to be a cinematic spectacle. With a theatrical release on April 10, 2025, Toxic is undoubtedly one of the most eagerly awaited films of the year.

Expectations are high for 'Toxic' as Yash had previously made waves with his fast-paced action spectacle 'Extravaganza KGF 1 and 2', in which he immortalised the role of Rocky Bhai.
