4 people arrested in death of General Hospital star Johnny Wactor

“We cautiously approached the men and asked what they were doing. At first we thought the car was being towed,” she wrote on Instagram on May 29. “We were not a threat and Johnny remained calm as usual. He just said it was his car and to go away. His hands were spread out at his sides in peace.”

Wactor stood in front of them to protect them from the attackers, but they were attacked “instantly,” she said.

“When I heard the gunshot that night, he fell back into my arms with full force,” she recalled. “As I reached for him, I screamed, 'Honey, are you OK?!' And he just replied, 'Nope! Gunshot!' We fell into the street, where I put my legs under him and tried to hold his body up while I screamed for help and yelled at him to stay with me.”
