Marcus & Millichap arranges sale of 489-unit self-storage property in Ohio

Marcus & Millichap has completed the sale of Premier Storage of Delaware, a 489-unit self-storage facility located in Delaware, Ohio in the Columbus MSA.

“This property was sold to a local buyer who outbid several competing offers from buyers across the country,” said Gabriel Coe, Senior Managing Director of Investments. “The sale occurred following the completion of a 3,500 square meter expansion that included stabilization of the original buildings and more than doubling the lot size.”

Gabriel Coe, Nathan Coe and Brett Hatcher, investment specialists in the Columbus office of Marcus & Millichap, were exclusively engaged to market the property and source the buyer on behalf of the seller. Michael Glass, Ohio broker of record, assisted in the transaction.

Located at 3295 US-42, Premier Storage of Delaware offers a mix of climate-controlled and non-climate-controlled units and parking in 68,053 square feet of space. Originally built in 1999 and expanded in early 2024, the building sits on a 10.91-acre site with room for continued growth.
