Elderly man injured in shelling of village in Kherson region

On the morning of Friday, August 16, a local resident was injured by Russian shelling of Tomina Balka in the Kherson region.

According to Ukrinform, this was reported by the Kherson Regional State Administration on Telegram.

At around 5:40 a.m., Russian troops attacked Tomina Balka. “A 71-year-old man who was inside the building was hit. He suffered a blast injury and shrapnel injuries to his back and shoulder,” the statement said.

The victim was taken to hospital for treatment.

As Ukrinform reported, on August 15, Russians attacked 25 settlements in the Kherson region, killing one person and injuring five others.
