The release date for Marvel and Capcom’s upcoming compilation, Marvel vs. Capcom Fighting Collection: Arcade Classics, has reportedly leaked.

A retailer in the UK apparently revealed the exact date in their pre-order list for the title before removing it. If that list is to be believed, fans can expect to get the game this November.

The Gamer reported that the release date was leaked by a retailer called ShopTo. This listing is still live and shows the PlayStation 4 version of the game, its price, and launch information, which at the time of writing reads: “Release date is yet to be confirmed.”

However, internet sleuths have already taken screenshots of the ShopTo listing before it was corrected. As seen below, the allegedly leaked release date for Marvel vs. Capcom Fighting Collection: Arcade Classics is November 22, 2024.

Since this leak occurred just days before Gamescom 2024 and its Opening Night Live ceremony, which is sure to feature many big gaming announcements, it's likely that this release date was originally supposed to be announced during the show.

You can check the potentially leaked release date below via a screenshot from Wario64 on Twitter.

The upcoming compilation will include the following seven titles:

• X-Men: Children of the Atom
• Marvel Superheroes
• X-Men vs Street Fighter
• Marvel Super Heroes vs. Street Fighter
• Marvel vs Capcom
• Marvel vs. Capcom 2
• The Punisher

Street Fighter 6 producer Shuhei Matsumoto, who is also working on this compilation, said in a recent interview that Capcom hopes to introduce many new players to these classic fighting titles with the upcoming compilation. Depending on how well it goes and how much interest it generates, we could see a new Marvel vs. Capcom game at some point, the developers said.

Fortunately, the Marvel vs. Capcom Fighting Collection: Arcade Classics compilation is already doing well, as it recently topped the sales charts before an official release date was announced.
