Gas leak forces Eagle Mountain Casino in Porterville to evacuate, officials say

PORTERVILLE, (KFSN) — A casino in Porterville was evacuated Thursday evening due to a gas leak.

The Porterville Fire Department said its crews are currently investigating a gas leak at the Eagle Mountain Casino.

All persons were evacuated from the casino.

According to official information, employees of the gas company are trying to find out where the leak came from.

There is currently no estimated date for the casino to reopen.

The public is asked to stay away from the casino while the investigation is ongoing.
