After an eventful summer that saw the launch of the world's most durable duffel bag and the unveiling of a 005 sneaker, Canadian trail-running masterminds at Norda are back with the brand's latest seasonal collection: four new colorways for the 001 and 002 models. The 002 is the star of the show here, having been produced in three new versions, while the 001 had just one new colorway. Still, each pair in the quartet combines the premium materials and relentless durability the brand has become known for with striking color schemes to suit different preferences.

The 002—a low-stack model with ultra-responsiveness—has been designed in “Oak,” “Lichen,” and “Stealth Black” color schemes. The first of these models features a wood brown upper contrasted with a black tongue and midsole, while purple laces add extra flair (if you prefer something a little more subdued, black laces are also available on the “Oak”). “Lichen” is similarly inspired by nature, drawing its bold green overtone from the symbiotic mix of fungi and algae found on rocks and trees in the forest, while the bold tone is grounded with white accents and a classic rubber outsole. Last but not least, the “Stealth Black” does exactly what its name suggests, offering a sleek and subtle black palette that fans of the brand have been clamoring for since the release of the 002, as “Stealth Black” is also one of the most popular compilations of the 001. As for the 001, Norda’s original sneaker with maximum cushioning and support, the only colorway included in this release is “Axolotl,” a mix of a rose-pink upper with a bold red midfoot stripe and stone grey, silver and black trim.

Although they look different, all models use Norda's proprietary bio-based Dyneema compound for the upper, a material that is 15 times stronger than steel. Other technical improvements include custom Vibram SLE midsoles and outsoles that combine Vibram's Litebase and Megagrip technologies, as well as a hidden foot locking system, custom eTPE insoles and even laces that use bio-based Dyneema.

If you're interested in purchasing a pair, all four are available now on the Norda webstore, each priced at $295.
