Johnny and Valter Walker are on Junior Tafa's hit list

PERTH, Australia – Junior Tafa met with the media on Wednesday ahead of his fight at UFC 305.

Tafa will face Valter Walker in a heavyweight bout on ESPN's undercard at the RAC Arena in Perth, Australia. Tafa answered questions from media representatives ahead of his fight on media day in Perth.

In his last outing, Tafa stepped in for his brother Justin on just one day's notice to face Marcos Rogerio de Lima at UFC 298. He lost by second-round TKO and is eyeing a rebound against Walker.

“The last time I was here, my brother got a first-round knockout, so I'm going to try to outdo him this time. That's how I get the bonus,” Tafa said at media day on Thursday.

And while Tafa (5-2 MMA, 1-2 UFC) undoubtedly knows that Valter Walker (11-1 MMA, 0-1 UFC) is the brother he has to worry about first, he has his eye on Johnny, Valter's older brother, and plans to drop down to light heavyweight if necessary.

“If I could, I would love to fight both Walker brothers,” Tafa said. “(I would) move down to light heavyweight and his brother would have to follow suit. I'm a fan of their fighting style. They're cool guys. It would be cool to fight both of them.”
