Standard scoring was the old way to play fantasy football, which always meant you didn't get points for caught balls – but in recent years, PPR has become the standard format for most fantasy managers in the industry. That's why we refer to this format as “non-PPR” scoring rather than just “standard.” However, these non-PPR draft rankings are a consensus of three NFL executives – Nick Mariano, Brandon Murchinson, And Scott Engel. Use these tiered rankings for your drafts with “standard” scoring (not PPR), where players do not receive extra points for each reception.
