She began her video on Instagram with the words “Hello everyone, Ray gun here. First of all, I would like to thank all the people who supported me. I really appreciate the positive vibes and I'm glad I was able to bring some joy into your lives. That's what I hoped.”

“I didn't realize that it would also open the door to so much hate, which was, quite frankly, pretty devastating. I went out and had fun, but I took it very seriously,” she continued.

She added: “I've worked my ass off preparing for the Olympics and really given it my all. I'm honoured to have been part of the Australian Olympic team and to have been part of Breaking's Olympic debut,” she added. “I'm honoured to have been part of the Australian Olympic team and to have been part of Breaking's Olympic debut. What the other athletes have achieved is just phenomenal.”

She then addressed “allegations and misinformation that are circulating,” referring to rumors that she cheated to get her place on the Australian Olympic team, allegations that have been denied by officials from her home country.

Regarding the allegations, she said: “I would ask everyone to pay attention to AOC's recent statement as well as the posts on the Ausbreaking Instagram page and the WDSF Breaking for Gold page.”

“Fun fact for you: There are actually no points awarded for breaking. If you want to see how the judges found me compared to my opponents, you can see the percentage comparisons for the five criteria on Olympics.com.” Ray gun said.

“Everyone has been through a lot as a result of this, so I ask that you respect their privacy,” she said. “I am happy to answer any further questions after I return to Australia.”
