Grown Ups actor Rob Schneider sent a message to his daughter Elle King asking her to “forgive” him

Adult Actor Rob Schneider has spoken out about his relationship with his daughter Elle King after she spoke about several “toxic” experiences in her childhood.

Singer-songwriter Elle King – real name Tanner Elle Schneider – spoke about her childhood and her relationship with her father in a podcast interview, although she had allegedly been warned by the actor not to talk about [him] in the press'.

In a clip from an interview with BunnieXO on her podcast “Dumb Blonde” shared on TikTok, King spoke about her relationship with her father after the host admitted that Schneider was one of her “childhood crushes.”

King claimed that she spent the summers she spent with her father on a “movie set” where she would “get lost in the hustle and bustle” and “get in damn trouble” if she “ever messed up a take.”

She also claimed that her father had [her] to the fat camp”, where she “got into trouble for a year because [she] sprained [her] ankle and have not lost weight,” and described the experience as “very damaging and very stupid.”

King admitted that at one point in her life she had no contact with her father for “four or five years,” but after she released her first record, “people started asking about him,” and he got in touch.

The singer also took the time to clarify that she did not agree[s] with many of the things he says about “anti-gay rights” and “drag” telling him to “f**k off”.

And Schneider has now responded to his daughter’s comments.

In an interview with Tucker Carlson, the actor took the time to address his daughter directly.

In a clip of the interview shared on Instagram yesterday (August 14), the actor said: “I wanted to tell my daughter Elle that I love you. And I wish I had been the father in my twenties that you needed, but I obviously wasn't and I hope you can forgive me for my shortcomings.”

“I love you with all my heart. I love you with all my heart and I just want you to be well and happy with your beautiful baby Lucky. I wish you all the best.”

“I feel terrible and I just want you to know that I don't take anything you say personally.”

He decided to Carlson: “If you love someone with all your heart, then I love her and all I want for her is for her to be happy and to get over this thing.”
