Rep. Anna Paulina Luna speaks about the viral “MAGA” swimsuit video

Republican congressman from Florida. Anna Paulina Luna spoke about a video of her dancing in a “Make America Great Again” swimsuit that recently resurfaced online.

Luna, 35, an Air Force veteran and former model, first posed in a one-piece with the former president Donald Trumps famous slogan during his 2016 presidential campaign.

“I confirm that I did indeed wear bathing suits and you can tell I am biologically a woman. #MAGA,” Luna wrote on her X account on Wednesday afternoon (August 14), before publishing several follow-up posts blaming Democrats for the resurfacing of her video.

“You can spend your time better than digging up modeling photos of me from almost ten years ago. The left is trying to make this a thing but can't define what a woman is. Very low IQ behavior. Get over it,” Luna wrote, taking aim at Democratic politicians' support for the transgender community.

Luna blamed Democrats for sharing the video and received support from many conservatives, although some alt-right accounts also criticized the revealing video.

Luna, who received support from Trump and the Republican congressman from Georgia. Marjorie Taylor Greenewas elected to the U.S. House of Representatives in November 2022, representing Florida's 13th district. She defeated the Democratic candidate and became the first Mexican-American woman elected to Congress from that state.
