Oscar De La Hoya has once again targeted Dana White in a fit of anger.

The head of Golden Boy Promotions and UFC boss White have been at loggerheads for years, fighting each other on social media and in various disputes.

Their feud began when De La Hoya first showed interest in promoting MMA fights, which White opposed and criticized, including the third fight between Chuck Liddell and Tito Ortiz.

De La Hoya renewed his rivalry with White in a new tirade, referencing a video of a physical altercation he had with his wife in 2023.

“Yeah, we were cool. When I first thought about getting into MMA, I had a strong feeling that he just wanted to beat me up and not have any competition,” he told Shannon Sharpe.

“He started talking shit about me. What is he talking about? The coke and the tights? So what? 15 years ago, so what? And I have no friends. It's absurd because I don't even think about it.

“When a man slaps his wife in public, when his mother writes a book about him and says he's an idiot. His own mother. That's all I have to say.”

White had apologized for the incident with his wife after footage emerged, but it sparked widespread outrage.

Nevertheless, the successful entrepreneur's feud with “Golden Boy” from the famous trilogy of Liddell and Ortiz arose.

In another dig at White, De La Hoya sat down with former UFC champion Alexander Volkanovski and criticized the pay of the association's fighters.

But in his most famous response to the boxing legend, White attacked him for 16 minutes over the payment of fighters on his own MMA label.

“All former UFC fighters who were on his card earned in their last [UFC] than at his event,” shouted White.

“Most of them made more in several or all of their UFC fights, right? So 17 of the 22 fighters were making less than starting pay in the UFC, the guys who fought on his MMA card.

“What I'm trying to say is, every time this asshole opens his mouth he acts like he's saying, 'Oh, you don't pay your fighters. Why aren't the fighters getting paid?'

“And he acts like when he organizes an event he pays more than us or something. Yes, you're fucking paying Canelo [Alvarez] a huge pile of money that you couldn't even hold on to, that you couldn't even keep.

Dana White announces that Conor McGregor will not fight in the UFC this year as he rules out his comeback fight in 2024

“He fucking left you too, didn't he? How about this: I have 650 fighters under contract. He had one fucking important one.

“He couldn't hold on to him. Twelve of the 22 fighters were paid less than what we pay the kids on the Contender Series.”

De La Hoya has not competed in any more MMA cards and has focused primarily on boxing promotion, moving forward with the likes of Ryan Garcia.

White has brought great success to the UFC. During his tenure, the UFC has hosted some major events and brought in some big stars like Conor McGregor and Jon Jones.
