Jersey students ‘relieved’ after receiving exam results

Logan, 18, from Hautlieu School, said he was “delighted” with his results, achieving three A*s.

“I got into university, that’s all that matters,” he said.

“I needed an A*, an A* and an A, and when I take exams the doubts come.

“You always think negatively and think I might have just made it, but you always do better than you think.”

Logan said he would go to Oxford University to study chemistry.

He described the day the results were announced as one of the “happiest days” of his life so far.

“It was a confirmation of how much work I have put in over the last two years,” he said.

When asked how he celebrates his results, he said: “I work. I would love to go out for a drink, but I have to earn money for the university.”
