Dragon Age: The Veilguard – Release date leaked

0

BioWare is expected to announce the release date for Dragon Age: The Veilguard later today, but it seems like it's already leaked. According to a leaked trailer, likely the one we'll see later today, the game is tentatively scheduled to release on October 31st.

The trailer doesn't show any new gameplay, which is a little worrying. In fact, it consists of a handful of clips from the gameplay show in June. At the end, it reveals the October 31st launch for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S. There's also a call-to-action to pre-order.

This means that we will also be able to pre-order the game on select platforms later today when the trailer goes live. At the moment we don't know which versions of the game it will be released for. Dragon Age: The Veilguard.

This isn't the first time we've seen the October 31st release date either. A few weeks ago, an artbook leaked that also revealed the game's release date, so there's a very good chance that this is actually the date we'll be playing the game.

BioWare has a handful of reveals planned in the lead-up to the game's release. The release date will be announced on August 15th, followed by a PC Spotlight feature on August 19th, followed by a “Companions Week” on August 26th. There will also be a developer Q&A on Discord on August 30th.

We'll post any updates as they're released. There'll also be a pre-order guide coming soon. In the meantime, you can check out the final gameplay overview video below.
