Cruelty to the sick and first-degree rape are among the charges against the Lecompte duo

LECOMPTE, La. (WNTZ) – On August 10, 2024, patrol officers responded to a report of suspected sexual abuse where the victim may have been disabled. Patrol officers took the initial report and sheriff's detectives went to investigate.

The victim was evaluated by local medical personnel who specialize in sexual assault. Investigators, with the assistance of the Children's Advocacy Center, conducted an interview with the victim, who provided evidence that supported the original allegations. Through their investigation, investigators were able to identify a suspect as Clarence Albert Frazier Jr., 46, of Lecompte, Louisiana.

Based on evidence obtained during the course of their investigation, investigators were able to obtain a search warrant for the address 53 Thompson Road in Lecompte, Louisiana, which was identified as a property with a mobile home. An arrest warrant for Frazier Jr. was also issued for 1st Rape, sexual assault, cruelty to the sick, and criminal conspiracy. While investigating this crime, detectives determined that Frazier Jr. is a registered sex offender who has complied with regulations.

Through their investigation, investigators were able to obtain arrest warrants against another suspect, identified as Amber Johnson (49), for 1st Aggravated rape, cruelty to the sick and criminal conspiracy.

On August 11, 2024, Frazier Jr. was taken into custody without incident and booked into the Rapides Parish Detention Center where he remains at the time of this release on a $550,000.00 bond.

On August 12, 2024, Johnson was taken into custody without incident and booked into the Rapides Parish Detention Center, where she remains as of this release and is being held on $275,000.00 bail.
