Flynn emphasizes joint operations – FBC News

US Pacific Army Commander General Charles Flynn stressed the critical importance of unity in joint and combined military operations throughout the region.

He stressed this during the Indo-Pacific Arms Management Seminar, which ends today.

General Flynn says there needs to be continued synergy between the land forces of the Indo-Pacific nations, as each country can make a valuable contribution.

“We can achieve unity of action because, unlike our adversaries, we share a vision, a common vision, the vision of a free and open Indo-Pacific, a vision in which every country can defend its sovereignty, protect its people and uphold its own rights under international law.”

Brigadier General Onisivoro Corvunisaqa, Commander of the RFMF Land Forces, says the results of the seminar will contribute to the collective security and stability of the region.

“This meeting will not only improve our understanding of the complex security situation in the Indo-Pacific, but will also promote greater cooperation and coordination in addressing common threats.

This seminar brings together senior military leaders from 21 Indo-Pacific countries to exchange views, develop relations between nations and strengthen existing ties.
